A stock, also known as a shoulder stock, a buttstock, or simply a butt is a part of a rifle or other firearm, to which the barrel and firing mechanism are attached, that is held against one’s shoulder when firing the gun.  The stock provides a means for the shooter to firmly support the device and easily aim it. The stock also transmits recoil into the shooter’s body.

Jeweler Britta Boeckmann doesn’t have a plan when she designs her wood-fragment and resin accessories. Instead,  she uses the natural form of the wood to define the shape, using colored resin to make  jewelry. Then Boeckmann smooths each piece with sandpaper and applies varnish to give it lustre.

Dmitry Ramushkevich workshop is family business. The company was founded by Stepan Ramushkevich in Belarus. His childrens also love woodworking and they decided to follow the footsteps of their parents. Now they work in Russia, Mocow. Dmitry works were widely represented in Poland and Germany.

After graduating, he traveled the continent as an Outward Bound instructor, ice climber, and whitewater rafting guide. In Jackson Hole, Wyoming he trained as an Alpine mountaineering guide and became certified as a wilderness emergency medical technician.

His sculpting career began with creating ice sculptures while working as a banquet chef for Marriott hotels.
